2005 Bill Mair Sportsman of the Year Award

This is the only SWT category that is awarded on the basis
of a vote rather than points or weight etc., being the 2005 recipient I
would like to thank everyone that voted for me. My partner, Brian
Dygdala and I had an exceptional year and to be topped off by winning the
Sporstman of the Year award was a great honor.
I am sure that the primary reason for winning this award was my work on this
website, but I want to point out that there are so many other deserving
individuals that worked hard to put on another great SWT season. The
entire board of directors of the SWT
really deserve recognition, I just happened to take on a more visible task.
Thanks again and I look forward to seeing everyone on the water again next
year.
