Since 2005, Canadian Oakworks Ltd. has sponsored a prize for new members of the Saskatchewan Walleye Trail.  At each tournament, the highest placing new member will win a $200.00 cash prize. 

Any new member* will be eligible to win at all SWT tournaments they fish in the 2008 season with the exception that an individual may only win the prize one time. 

Example:  If there are 6 new members fishing the Elbow tournament, the highest placing new member will win the $200.00 dollar prize and will no longer be eligible to win this prize at the remaining tournaments.  At the next tournament, Regina Beach, the 5 remaining new members and any other new members that join prior to the start of the tournament will be eligible to win.

This award has been a great boost to growing the number of SWT members and the SWT thanks Delvin & Linda Kushniryk and Canadian Oakworks Ltd. for this prize that is sure to help attract new members again in 2008.
